Every NHL sports betting season there seems to be that one rookie player that breaks through for his team, and provides that lucky fantasy manager with the elite option not only for the present, but to a greater degree in the future as an asset in keeper leagues. It seemed as though every night Landeskog’s name was being called after he scored another goal with his junior team, and he looks like one of the most ready rookie prospects. The Avalanche have a young team with plenty of room available for him to start, so look for Landeskog to be a key rookie contributor immediately. Another player to keep an eye on is young Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who may not get a call this year until later in the season but should be a star for years to come.
